Quad FM4 (Late Grey Version)

Serial number 24686. Complete with original user manual and mains cable.

Previously in use with its matching 405-2 power amp and 34 pre-amp, this classic British tuner is in perfect working order. This is the late grey version with gold RCA input sockets.

This has also had the benefit of a full Quad service nine years ago (invoice included).

Physical condition is really excellent (completely un-marked). This has lived for most of its life in a dedicated Quad rack. Because of this the original rubber feet are missing.

Currently operating on 200 - 240 volts. Conversion to 100 - 127 volts simply requires moving a couple of links on the power supply PCB.

USA and Canada use a different FM de-emphasis than Europe (50u sec EU / 75u sec USA & Canada). There is a very simple modification to make for USA & Canada. This involves inserting two small capacitors onto the underside of the circuit board and is clearly explained in the user manual.
