When I first saw these I assumed they were original Tannoy enclosures, with replacement grille cloths. However… the son of the original owner remembers his father building the cabinets in the early 1970s, using original Tannoy plans.
I’ve seen many home-made cabinets over the years, but I’ve never seen any as well made as these. They have been so very well made, with loving attention to detail, they are to all intense and purposes, a pair of 12” Tannoy Lancaster enclosures.
You already know just how good these are so we won’t be boring you with any long-winded essay. This pair is in full & glorious working order and sound exactly as they should - breathtaking with all types of music.
Apart from sounding simply wonderful, they are also in the best physical condition I’ve see for very many years. The original owner loved these and made sure the cabinets were not victims of direct sunlight, or hoover abuse.
So - here are a really lovely pair of enclosures, that only you will know are not factory originals

There are three collection/delivery options for these:
Option 1). Personal collection from Caterham, Surrey (CR3 6LS).
Option 2). We arrange delivery in person within 75 miles of Caterham, Surrey, for petrol money.
Option 3). You contact TCS Crawley Ltd. TCS offer a personal (man & van) collection and delivery service throughout England and Wales. I’ve used TCS before and found them to be reliable, efficient and cheaper than I expected.
TCS will ask for size and weight: Each enclosure weighs 25kg and measures 82cm x 58cm x 31cm
