Original factory matched pair, with really close serial numbers (515552 and 515559).

These legendary Tannoy Dual Concentric monitors sound exactly as they did back in the 70’s - when you couldn’t afford them.

Well… now you can afford them. So not only will they knock the spots off modern speakers but as the years go by they will only continue to increase in value.
The original owner had these re-coned by Lockwood around 10 years ago, so the cones and surrounds are perfect and will be good for many years to come.

The condition of the cabinets is good and solid. Cosmetically, an antique dealer would refer to them as having a ‘nice patina’ - but I prefer to say ‘a few little blemishes in line with their age’. The previous owner had them sitting on their sideways on shelves and you can see a watermark ring on the side of one enclosure. This is by far the worst cosmetic issue but I know that these watermarks can be removed with the correct product and some elbow grease.

The front grilles have a few tiny little thread snags - but no rips, holes or tears.
