9” Tonearm - Fixed Headshell
Here in an SME 9 inch tone-arm, with fixed head-shell and knife-edge bearings, in full working order and excellent physical condition.
Bearings and geometry are all spot-on, full signal continuity from cartridge tags to RCA plugs and the dashpot (arm lowering mechanism) operates smooth & slow, just as it should.
Of the fixed head-shell 3009 SME say:- "The fixed head-shell is the purer design with the lowest possible mass - only 5.5 grams…. offering a significant improvement in trackability and all round definition plus cleaner bass and low sensitivity to external shock and feedback”
This comes original signal cable, original finger-lift, original cartridge mounting nuts & bolts and 4 x SME bed-plate fixing screws. It also comes with a print-out copy of the original user manual which will be emailed to the new owner on request. Also included will be exact size copies of the original mounting template and alignment protractor.
