9" Tone-arm – Appears unused

This beautiful tonearm shows no signs of any previous use. Unmarked and gleaming like a new pin (see close-up pictures). No tell-tale marks on the bedplate rubber grommets and no signs of screw marks on the headshell.. This beautiful SME tonearm is also in full & perfect working order. Arm bearings and geometry are all spot-on, full signal continuity from head-shell tags to RCA plugs and the dashpot (arm lowering mechanism) operates smooth & slow, just as it should.

Of the fixed head-shell 3009 SME say:- "The fixed head-shell is the purer design with the lowest possible mass - only 5.5 grams…. offering a significant improvement in trackability and all round definition plus cleaner bass and low sensitivity to external shock and feedback”

This comes with original SME signal cable, 4 x SME bed-plate fixing screws, SME finger-lift and a little sealed packet of cartridge mounting nuts & bolts. It also comes with exact scale copies of the mounting template and alignment protractor. The user manual is a print-out copy from our archives and will be emailed as a PDF to the new owner on request.
