Here is a wonderful example of the classic Quad FM4 tuner. Previously in use with its matching 44 pre-amp, 405-2 power amp, this FM4 is in full working order and absolutely excellent physical condition - a real credit to its original owner.

Picture 3 was taken while just using a short length of speaker wire as an improvised aerial.

Currently operating on 200-240 volts, conversion to 100-127 volts simply requires moving a couple of links on the power supply board (see picture 15).

USA and Canada use a different FM de-emphasis than Europe (50u sec EU / 75u sec USA & Canada). There is a very simple modification to make for USA & Canada. This involves inserting two small capacitors onto the underside of the circuit board and is clearly explained in the user manual.

This is supplied in original Quad carton, with mains cable, original Quad gold RCA signal output cables and original user manual.
