Quad 67CD

CD Player

This high-spec CD player is tested and in full working order, playing our badly scratched test CDR without missing a beat. Physical condition is very good. There are a few little scratches on the top case, but the front fascia is excellent (see close-up pictures).

The common failure with this model is the failure of the loading mechanism cog wheel. With this in mind we have replaced this part, so this 67 will not be suffering from this problem

Currently operating on 220 - 240 volts, conversion to 110 - 120 simply requires moving a link on the power supply PCB.

Please note: The Quad 67CD was not designed with any transport locks. So - we have padded the swinging laser-eye with bubble-wrap, in order to prevent it flopping around during transport (see pictures 13 & 14). This will need to be removed by the new owner before powering-up. Remove the case by unscrewing 4 screws on the underside. Better safe than sorry.

This comes with original user manual, correct mains cable, a pair of RCA (phono) signal output cables and a remote control. You will notice that the remote control is branded ‘Marantz’. However - it is compatible with the Quad branded remote and performs all necessary functions.
