Yes…. An early ‘Red Button’ Linn Sondek, installed in an SME 2000 plinth - a very unusual combination.
Ready to accept any 9 inch tonearm with an SME type bed-plate fitting, here is a very early Linn Sondek, in wonderful condition, tested and in perfect working order.
The bearing is fine, the motor is spot-on and whisper-quiet, speed is accurate and stable and the drive belt is a fairly new replacement.
The SME 2000 plinth is in great condition, the acrylic cover is beautiful, with no scratches or blemishes, the adjustable level springs are fine and the dust-cover hinges are good an strong.
