In full working order. Bearings are fine, anti-skate operates as it should, lowering mechanism is smooth and slow and full signal continuity from headshell tags to RCA plugs. Physical condition is a little less than perfect, with a few very minor scuffs, which are clearly visible in the pictures. This is reflected in the price.

“The Linn Akito incorporates much of the technology developed for the Ekos tonearm. In order to achieve maximum strength and rigidity, high performance adhesives are used. The one piece headshell and the bearing are high pressure die-cast for added strength. The new larger diameter bearing assembly minimises friction and play. Every detail of the arm has been optimised. The Akito sets new standards of performance at this price level.”
