From the mid 90s, here is the original classic Bose Acoustimass 5 Series II loudspeaker system, with the original ‘Red-Line’ double cubes.
Physical condition is good and solid - with no rattles or squeaks. A few little blemishes and the speaker grilles are a bit scruffy, but personally I think they look much better with grilles removed - as seen in the last picture.
So simple to wire up and because bass frequencies are non-directional, the human ear can’t identify where low bass is coming from, so the sub-woofer simply needs to be placed anywhere in the room. Behind the sofa, under the coffee table, behind the curtains - it really doesn’t matter. Providing it's in the same room as the tiny twin cube satellite speakers, the effect will be that these tiny little speakers suddenly sound huge - with natural sounding, deep extended bass.
Sub-woofer is 19 cm wide x 36 cm high x 49 cm deep.
Comes with all the cables you’ll need for wiring-up.
