This quality vintage ‘Made in Japan’ turntable is in full working order. The main bearing is fine and freshly lubricated, the motor is smooth & silent, the Ortofon cartridge is fine and the stylus tip is excellent. Physical condition is very good, with a few little blemishes but nothing at all nasty (see close-up pictures). The user manual is a print-out copy from our archives.

The Technics SL-5200 features a high performance circuit and full-cycle detection FG for quartz phase-locked control of integral structure superior in rotational characteristics. The Double-TNRC vibration damping construction is a newly developed material high in damping and superior in attenuation characteristics. A low-mass gimbal bearing tonearm is used, with an arm friction of 7mg and muting circuit. Equipped with a stylus illuminator, the SL5200 facilitates selection of music even in a dark place.
