A Quality Pair of British Monitors.

Not to be confused with any of the later and inferior Mercury variants, these are the original early 1980’s Tannoy Mercury enclosures.

Designed & built in West Norwood, London SE27, these were highly acclaimed, very well reviewed and award winning speakers. This an original factory matched pair, un-molested, in full working order and in very nice physical condition.

The last two pictures are from the 1983 Hi-Fi Choice, when these quality monitors were awarded the coveted ‘Best Buy’ status and retailed at £120 - a hefty price-tag back in 1983.
