This excellent turntable is in very nice physical condition (see close-up pictures) and full & perfect working order.

The main bearing is spot-on and freshly lubricated, the motor is smooth and silent, the drive belt is fine and 33 / 45 speeds are accurate & stable. The Linn Basik LV X tonearm operates as it should, with perfect bearings and geometry.

Arm-lowering device operates smooth & slow and the anti-skate control is fine. The Nagaoka MM cartridge is fitted with a brand new replacement stylus.

3-point sprung chassis, AC synchronous motor, 10mm glass platter with heavy steel plate sub-chassis.

The last three pictures are from the 1986 ‘Hi-Fi Choice’, where this excellent turntable received its prestigious ‘Best Buy’ status.
