This Spacer Plate Adapter allows you to mount your 3009 or 3012 tonearm (Series 1, 2 or 3) on almost any turntable where arm height is an issue - including the Garrard 301, 401 & Thorens TD-124. With this spacer you can accurately mount your SME tonearm on any turntable that has an extra tall platter. It is never recommended to extend the tower completely on your SME tonearm as you will lose some rigidity. This is why SME produced the P1 Spacer.

Metal and 10mm high, this comes with its very important extra-long fixing screws.

This is one of the most important but often overlooked accessories for all vintage SME tonearms.
