With metal knife-edge bearings and lovely raised-logo headshell, this beautiful 12” SME is in full working order and really excellent physical condition - gleaming like a new pin (see close-up pictures).

The bearings and arm geometry are all fine, the dashpot works properly, the elastic coupling is fine, the 4 x rubber bed-plate grommets are fine and full signal continuity from newly fitted gold head-shell tags to RCA output plugs.

This comes with its original user manual, 4 x bed-plate fixing screws, finger-lift, a set of cartridge mounting nuts & bolts, original SME signal cable and alignment protractor - ready for work.
