In full working order and gleaming like a new pin (see close-up pictures), here is a beautiful early version Series 2 SME tonearm, with metal knife-edge bearings and additional 2-piece counterweight and optional extra rider weight.

Full signal continuity from head-shell tags to output signal plug, bearings & geometry are all fine and dashpot (arm lowering device) operates smooth and slow.

This comes with original SME raised logo headshell (which is fitted with new gold signal wires), 4 x bed-plate fixing screws, original SME signal cable, a set of cartridge mounting nuts & bolts, original SME acorn spanner, a spare 2-piece counterbalance weight kit and additional optional rider weight - for use with heavier cartridges. It also comes with original mounting template and alignment protractor, along with a copy of the original user manual from our archives.

You can see that the signal cable is terminated with a 5-Pin DIN plug. We can change this for 2 x RCA plugs on request from the new owner and free of charge
