This has been previously used but it’s in such sparkling condition that you would be excused for thinking that it was actually brand new. Even the carton is perfect.

In full working order and gleaming like a new pin, here is a unique opportunity to own a fabulous tonearm that really does look and perform as good as new. Knife-edge bearings and geometry are all perfect, dashpot (arm lowering mechanism) operates smooth and slow and full left & right signal continuity from head-shell tags to RCA plugs

Of the fixed head-shell 3009 SME say:- "The fixed head-shell is the purer design with the lowest possible mass - only 5.5 grams…. offering a significant improvement in trackability and all round definition plus cleaner bass and low sensitivity to external shock and feedback”

This comes in its original carton, along with original SME signal cable, original user manual, original alignment protractor and original mounting template. It also comes with 4 x SME bed-plate fixing screws, fingerlift, acorn spanner, Allen key, a sealed packet of cartridge mounting nuts & bolts and a sealed packet of cartridge sealing compound.
