Previously in use with its matching 34 pre-amp, 405-2 power amp, this FM4 is in gorgeous physical condition. Tested for around 2 hours and performing just as it should. Picture 5 was taken while just using a short length of speaker wire as an improvised aerial.

This is fitted with the later version memory battery, so will not have the problem of leakage so often seen with the earlier version FM4.

Currently operating on 200-240 volts, conversion to 100-127 volts simply requires moving a couple of links on the power supply board (see last picture).

USA and Canada use a different FM de-emphasis than Europe (50u sec EU / 75u sec USA & Canada). There is a very simple modification to make for USA & Canada. This involves inserting two small capacitors onto the underside of the circuit board and is clearly explained in the user manual.

This will be supplied to its new owner with original user manual, mains cable and a pair of gold RCA signal output cables.
