Here is a very nice example of the classic Quad FM4 tuner. This one is in full working order and excellent physical condition (see close-up pictures). The memory battery was changed during its Quad service, so this will not suffer from the common leaking battery problems often associated with this model.

Picture 5 was taken while just using a short length of speaker wire as an improvised aerial.

User switchable mains voltage, so this will operate in any country.

USA and Canada use a different FM de-emphasis than Europe (50u sec EU / 75u sec USA & Canada). There is a very simple modification to make for USA & Canada. This involves inserting two small capacitors onto the underside of the circuit board and is clearly explained in the user manual.

This is supplied with mains cable and 5-Pin DIN signal output cables. The user manual is a print-out copy from our archives.
