We’ve had many individual items like this over the years, but never in this condition and working perfectly.

Quad Acoustical Valve mono pre-amp, Quad Mono valve tuner and Quad II valve power amp. This system has been in regular use up until around 2 years ago.

We woke-up this lovely mono system with our variac and ran it for an entire afternoon. It sounds fabulous.

The valves inside the tuner are all Brimar and the pre-amp valves are both Mullard. GEC KT66 valves in the power amp, along with Mullard GZ32 rectifier and 2 x Mullard EF86 pre-amp valves.
