Boxed and appearing to have had very little previous use, here is a beautiful example of the classic Quad 22 valve system (22 pre-amp and 2 x II power amps). Not only in beautiful physical condition, this looks like it’s been totally unmolested.

We gently woke this up with our variac, ran it just for a couple of minutes and it sounded wonderful – just as it should. HOWEVER - all the internal components look to be original and unmolested, so do not expect this to continue performing as it did while briefly tested by us. This has been left boxed & unused for over 45 years, so the capacitors and some other components will certainly need to be changed before further prolonged use.

The pre-amp comes with its PU and Tape Adaptor pods and the system comes with original Bulgin mains cable, along with user manual, containing circuit diagrams.

Here is an opportunity to own the classic Quad valve system, boxed and in lovely condition – ready for restoration
