Made in Japan in the mid 1970’s, this model was the first of the Japanese belt drive players to be made available in the UK.

Fitted with a very nice, good quality Shure MM cartridge, this vintage belt-drive turntable is in full working order and excellent physical condition (see close-up pictures). Motor smooth and quiet, main bearing fine, arm bearings and geometry all spot-on and 33 & 45 speeds are accurate & stable. Ready to plug-and-play when connected to the MM phono input of your amplifier.

The 3 transport screws are present and will be used for safe shipping.

The last picture is from the 1975 Hi-Fi Year Book and refers to the original Mk1 version – which is essentially exactly the same.
