Monitor Audio MA3

With Dedicated Stands

These superb 1970’s British monitors are completely unmolested, in full working order and in beautiful condition - a real credit to their very fussy original owner. They sound sweet, detailed and effortless - typically British 1970’s. They are also finished in gorgeous real wood veneer.

These is the original MA3 design from 1975. We can’t find any information regarding these but the Series 2 versions are shown in the 1980 Hi-Fi Year Book and picture 8 is from this book. The only difference between these and the later Series 2 is the Series 2 uses a different tweeter. Everything else is the same:- drive units, physical size and weight (a massive 27kg each) are all identical.

The last 5 pictures are the user manual and specifications. You can see that the first three pictures in the user manual refer to the MA3 Series 2, where the last two pictures refer to the original MA3.

You can view and print the user manual here

These come with the dedicated stands shown in the pictures, along with a print-out copy of the original user manual. These are large and very heavy (27 kg each). Any shipping will be in three separate cartons. The stands are included but are optional. If you don’t want them the shipping cost will be reduced because there will be only two cartons.
