This quality turntable is in excellent physical condition and full working order. Fitted with a Linn ‘Basik Plus’ 9 inch tonearm and Linn K5 MM Cartridge (with perfect stylus tip), the Axis is one model down from the legendary Sondek.

The motor is smooth and whisper quiet, 33 & 45 speeds are rock solid and accurate, the belt is fine and the main bearing is spot-on and freshly lubricated and the lid hinges are nice and strong.

Currently operating on 240 volts, 115 volts only requires changing the position of one wire on the circuit board. The sophisticated Linn power supply means that this will operate on 50 or 60 cycles without the need for any other modifications.

This comes in its original Linn shipping carton, with all internal styrene packaging, along with original Linn user manual and correct mains cable.

The bearing shaft has been sealed with a plastic bag and cable-tie to prevent oil spillage (see picture 20). Transport lock is present and should be removed prior to use (see picture 18).

A high quality turntable, boxed and ready to play and enjoy when connected to your amplifier’s MM phono inputs.
