“The Cantor II was a high quality bookshelf loudspeaker of good sensitivity intended for use in average sized listening rooms with associated electronics giving up to 50 watts output per channel into 8 ohms. This system was fitted with a KEF bass-midrange drive unit with a coated paper cone terminating in a PVC roll surround. Both drive units were fitted with generously sized magnet systems for a loudspeaker of this class. The closed box type of bass loading ensures good tolerance to subsonic signals, which are sometimes produced by record warp and turntable rumble.”
