A rare find indeed. These beautiful reference monitors was purchased by their original owner in the late 1970’s, un-packed, looked at, re-packed, stored away and never used.

We unpacked and tested and they sound just as they should - fabulous.

Remember staring through Lasky’s window all those years ago..? You couldn’t afford them then - but now you can.

Physical condition is perfect all round, in fact when you unpack them you really will think they’re brand new. The original foam grilles have crumbled to dust years ago. You will never see a pair of these with their original grilles. However, Wilmslow Audio can supply 2 x sheets of grill foams which will cover these for just £20. Alternatively they can supply ready-made grille cloths on custom built wood frames for £70 per pair.

These come in their original shipping cartons with all internal styrene packing material, along with original instruction manual, original cloth protective covers and original logo badges. These have spent the last 40 years stored in a dry barn. Unfortunately the bottom of the cardboard cartons has been attacked by mice. This has not affected the polystyrene mouldings (just the outer cardboard box sleeves). We have taped-up the mouse damage and the cartons are just fine.
