Just removed from a pair of KEF 104aB enclosures, these are all original, un-molested and in full working order.

I anyone tells you that there is no difference between the original 104 and the 104ab up-grade then they are most definitely wrong. The 104aB up-grade uses an improved Butterworth type crossover, which not only decreases the colouration evident on the earlier 104 models (making a great improvement to voices and stringed instruments), but also increases the power handling from 50 to 100 watts RMS. The last three pictures tell the upgrade story and associated benefits.

These are a straight replacement. Maybe twenty minutes work for 12 solder joints. Just be careful when removing your old crossovers and bear in mind that the 4 x flat-head fixing screws holding your old crossovers in place are secured with captive nuts - so don’t push on the screws while you’re undoing them - or tightening them up..!

KEF date code makes them April 1978.

These come in their original cartons, with all the extras and accessories you see in the pictures.
