This quality British turntable is in nice condition and full working order. The motor is smooth and quiet, 33 & 45 speeds are accurate and stable, the suspension is fine, the drive belt is brand new and the single-point bearing is spot-on. The acrylic cover is in nice condition, with no cracks or chips and the lid hinges are fine. The arm-board is factory cut to accommodate any 9” tonearm with a standard Linn type fitting.

Specifications:

• Speeds: 33 and 45 rpm
• Speed drift: less than 0.1 % peak to peak Wow and Flutter - less than 0.08% DIN peak weighted
• Rumble: better than minus 79 dB (DINB weighted)
• Chassis suspension frequency: 5 Hz
• Finish: Real walnut veneer; black to order

Some Reviews:

• As far as sound quality goes, the TT2 is like a Linn. It has warmth and rhythm and colouration. It is very comparable to an early Linn LP12 with Basik power supply - Analog Addicts
• The merits of the TT2 are in terms of feedback, tonal balance, integration and pitch stability. The subjective performance was sufficient to merit recommendation - £195 (motor unit only) HiFi Choice 1984
• A gradual process of informed evolution and a sensibly designed arm combine to make this a good sounding middle of the road package, well supported by dealers - £469 HiFi Choice 1992
• I like the TT2. I like it because it is a well-made and honest product. It is perhaps a little expensive for what it does (though not for what it is - it can't be cheap to make) but performs excellently within certain limitations - HiFi Answers Nov 1983

The suspension locking bolt is present and will be used to ensure safe shipping (see picture 12)
