These mid 1960’s vintage enclosures are in full working order and sound wonderful.

These are the original made in Wembley ‘M Series’, not be confused with the later and very inferior K2 versions. A lovely pair of British classics for not much money.

The drivers are all working perfectly and they sound really nice, with lovely bass extension, accurate mid-band and sweet treble. The cabinets are good and solid, with a few little scuffs on the real wood veneer - but remember these are over 50 years old..!

You will notice that these contain the Goodmans 12” cast basket bass units, along with the highly regarded Goodmans alnico mid-band drivers and high quality Goodmans back-loaded tweeters. These were opened-up today for the first time in more than 50 years.

These will be supplied with a pair of speaker cables, fitted with the correct plugs for the enclosures.

The last picture is from the 1965 Hi-Fi Year Book, when these retailed at just under £37 - a huge price-tag at the time.
