In gorgeous physical condition, full & perfect working order and complete with original user manual and documents and a full size copy of the original mounting template, here is a beautiful example of the classic Garrard 401 transcription turntable.

The motor runs smooth & whisper quiet, the bearing is fine and freshly lubricated, the idler is excellent, all three speeds are accurate and stable, pitch control works as it should and all linkages are nice and smooth and in gleaming condition. On 33 RPM this reaches stable speed in around half a revolution.

The motor clamp is present and will be used for safe shipping.

This is currently operating on 220 - 250 volts / 50 cycles. Conversion to 110 - 125 volts is really simple, but 60 cycles operation will require a replacement motor pulley.

If requested we can convert this to 110 - 125 volts prior to shipping (free of charge). If conversion to 60 cycles is required we can carry this out prior to shipping. A replacement 60 cycles motor pulley & collar will cost an additional £30.

This will be supplied to its new owner with its original user manual, original packet of fixing nuts, bolts, washers & circlips - along with a full size copy of the mounting template.
