Garrard 301

Transcription Turntable

This 301 has been left unused for many years but when tested it performs very well indeed. The motor runs smooth & whisper quiet, all speeds are accurate and stable and the linkages all operate smoothly. On 33 RPM this reaches stable speed in less than one revolution.

Physical condition is pretty good. There are a few little blemishes which are clearly visible in the pictures - but nothing really nasty and no dust-bug mark.

This came to us without its rubber mat, so we’ve ordered a brand new replacement from the Classic Turntable Company in West Yorkshire. This is shown in picture 11.

This comes with original fixing nuts, bolts and washers, along with a full size copy of the original mounting template

The motor clamp is present and will be used for safe shipping.

This is currently operating on 200 - 250 volts / 50 cycles. Conversion to 100 - 130 volts is really simple, but 60 cycles operation will require a replacement motor pulley.

If requested we can convert this to 100 - 130 volts prior to shipping (free of charge). If conversion to 60 cycles is required then a replacement 60 cycles motor pulley will cost an additional £20 and we will fit it for you prior to shipping.
